Prospective participants should complete a Registration Form.  Please read the registration information below before you complete the registration form.  Should you have any questions please contact the Conference Managers at assc2020@arinex.com.au

The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

Full registration

  • All conference sessions from 5 – 9 April 2020
  • Welcome reception. Should you wish to bring a guest, additional tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.
  • Conference dinner. Should you wish to bring a guest, additional tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.
  • Catering including morning and afternoon tea, and lunches

Student registration
*A valid student ID must be provided at the time of registering.

  • All conference sessions from 5 – 9 April 2020
  • Welcome reception. Should you wish to bring a guest, additional tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.
  • Conference dinner. Should you wish to bring a guest, additional tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.

ISSS registration
*Proof of membership must be provided at the registration desk upon check-in.

Single day registration

  • All Conference sessions on the day of your choice.
  • 8 April 2020 will allow you to attend Workshops.
  • 9 April 2020 will allow you to attend Field trips.
  • Catering including morning and afternoon tea, and lunches
  • Registration does not include social functions:
    • Should you wish to attend the Welcome reception, tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.
    • Should you wish to attend the Conference dinner, tickets are available for purchase through the registration form.

Registration confirmation
Your registration and payment will be confirmed via email upon completion and successful payment. This email will include an overview of your requirements according to your registration form, and payment receipt.

Accommodation
Accommodation cannot be arranged through the registration process, please visit the accommodation page for more information.

Name badge
All delegates will receive a name badge upon onsite check-in at the event. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to workshop and conference sessions, and social functions.

Delegate conduct
The conference managers expect delegates to behave in a professional, respectful manner throughout the event. As such, the conference managers reserve the right to revoke the registration and privileges of anyone who is deemed in breach of this code of conduct.

Committed to sustainability
The organisers of the Australasian Seed Science Conference would like to minimise our impact on the environment. Please bring your own reusable coffee cup, water bottle, pen and notepad.

Credit card
All online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards include: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All credit card transactions will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd’.

Invoice
If you require an invoice for processing, you can select this option at the end of the registration process. Note this option will only be available until 30 days prior to the event.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the conference managers via email to register.assc2020@arinex.com.au

Cancellation fees
Cancellation before 5 January 2020 will incur an A$150.00 fee. 
A 50% refund of fees paid will be provided for cancellations before 24 February 2020. 
No refund will be issued for cancellations after 24 February 2020.

Note: there will be a $150 administration fee charged for refunds on duplicate registration payments.

Accommodation
Please refer to the cancellation terms as specified by your hotel. 

Social
A 100% refund of delegates’ social event fees (excluding welcome reception ticket included in registration) will be issued before 24 February 2020.
No refund will be issued for cancellations after 24 February 2020.

Registration fees do not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the event and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include:

  • Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through the cancellation of the event,
  • Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason,
  • Loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia,
  • Failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay,
  • Force Majeure or any other reason,
  • Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover),
  • Loss or damage to personal property,
  • Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered,
  • Medical expenses.

The Conference Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the conference managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The conference managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
